Material of the identification tags
Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) is known for its exceptional flexibility and versatility. This type of plastic combines the properties and advantages of plastic and rubber and is therefore often referred to as a thermoplastic elastomer.
Other identification tags made of ordinary plastic quickly become brittle due to the heavy stresses of firefighting operations or even melt at extreme heat.
